Rocks · ~190 cal
2 ozblanco tequila (100% agave)
1 ozfresh lime juice
1/2 ozagave nectar (thinned 2:1 with warm water)
✦lime wheel; salt half the rim if you like

No orange liqueur — agave lets the tequila show. Thin the agave or it won't mix cold.

Build

  1. Salt half the rim so the drinker gets to choose sip by sip.
  2. Shake tequila, lime, and agave with ice, 10–12 seconds.
  3. Strain over fresh ice in a rocks glass.
  4. Garnish with a lime wheel.
